Oh Snape...

Well, I have been diligently reading for the past few nights and I have reached the part in the story where Harry and the gang (Hermione and Ron) are growing very suspicious of Professor Snape.

Rowling does a fine job of making the reader believe that Professor Snape is actually evil and after the Sorcerer's Stone. I especially think the part where he shadily runs to the forbidden forest to threaten/intimidate Professor Quirrell into finding a way past Fluffy (the three headed dog guarding the entrance that leads to the Sorcerer's Stone) is very convincing.

Here's the passage(s):

"A hooded figure came swiftly down the front steps of the castle. Clearly not wanting to be seen, it walked as fast as possible toward the forbidden forest."

" 'Have you found out how to get past that beast of Hagrid's yet?'
'B-b-but Severus, I --'
'You don't want me as your enemy, Quirrell,' said Snape taking a step toward him."

See what I mean?

Note to Mrs. Jarrett: Have you seen the Dark Night yet?

First-I love the title of this post. Second-I'm not sure you've written 250 words in these posts since each post consists of scolding me for not seeing the Dark Night. I do like the embedded pictures. 45/50.
