Indian Culture

After reading an article on Indian culture, it is very easy to see how differently they dress. Women typically wear saris, like in Nectar in a Sieve, and men dhotis. Both outfits consist of one large piece of cloth. Personally, I think this would be hard to wear. For one thing, the fabric just hangs and I feel like this would get in the way. What's interesting is these outfits come in different styles and patterns  and can be worn casually or formally. If I were to were a suit, it wouldn't be considered casual, it would be considered formal and formal only. According the article I read, it is very difficult to put on these garments. To put on a sari correctly takes several steps.
